About This Role
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are in search of an exceptional Science (Physics) teacher to join our outstanding team starting on 18th August 2025. We are looking for candidates who have the ability to ignite student curiosity and engagement in the subject matter. Preference will be given to those with experience in the IB MYP/DP framework, who can differentiate learning and demonstrate a strong commitment to holistic child education.

The Role:
In the position of Science (Physics) Teacher within the MYP/DP curriculum, you will engage and motivate students through inquiry-based learning, upholding high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting in your subject area. This role calls for a passionate educator who can inspire students, parents, and colleagues to achieve ongoing success. The ideal candidate will focus on holistic education, delivering well-resourced lessons, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn in a supportive yet challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum content while maintaining exceptional teaching and assessment standards.
- Create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports students' right to learn.
- Design differentiated lessons that cater to diverse student needs, particularly within the IB MYP/DP framework.
- Collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive educational experience.
- Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the school community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Science (Physics) or an equivalent qualification.
- PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience is essential, preferably within an IB school.
- A documented history of achieving outstanding results.
- A professional commitment to the effective implementation of an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is preferred.
- Competence in IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
- A robust work ethic and a desire to contribute to the overall welfare of the school.
