About This Role
Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for an exceptional Science (Physics) Teacher to become a part of our outstanding team starting on January 6, 2025. The Role:
As a Science (Physics) Teacher within the MYP/DP curriculum, your role will be to ignite student interest and engage them in inquiry-based learning, ensuring high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting. We seek a passionate educator who can inspire students, parents, and colleagues to pursue ongoing success. The chosen candidate will focus on holistic education, offering well-resourced lessons and fostering an environment that is both supportive and challenging for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum content while upholding exceptional standards in teaching and assessment.
- Foster a welcoming and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes students' right to learn.
- Design differentiated lessons to cater to the diverse needs of students, particularly within the IB MYP/DP framework.
- Work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute positively to the school community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Science (Physics) or an equivalent qualification.
- PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated teaching experience, ideally in an IB school.
- A proven history of delivering excellent educational outcomes.
- A professional commitment to effectively implementing an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is preferred.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to the overall well-being of the school.
