About This Role

Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 educational organization dedicated to nurturing responsible citizenship in its students and equipping them for higher education. This mission includes fostering essential ethical attributes such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, in addition to providing a strong academic foundation.

A successful school environment is characterized by high-caliber instruction from educators and effective learning among students. This requires a safe atmosphere for everyone at SPAS, along with a firm commitment to citizenship and the fair enforcement of rules throughout the Saint Paul Scholars community. We acknowledge the vital role that parents play as educational partners, and their engagement and accountability for their children's academic success and behavior are crucial.

SPAS is looking to hire educators who view themselves as more than just teachers. At their core, these professionals are devoted to finding innovative ways to support struggling students, challenge high achievers, and comprehend the factors that affect student performance. Their commitment is rooted in a desire to ensure that students not only cope but genuinely thrive. These educators are enthusiastic about collaborating with their peers and community partners to improve student outcomes.

These individuals understand that education encompasses much more than merely assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If you share this philosophy, we would love to hear from you.
