About This Role
Sun West School Division is excited to announce an opening for the Principal position at Kyle Composite School in Kyle, SK, for the 2026/27 school year. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be an integral part of an educational team dedicated to providing collaborative and essential leadership within our school community. Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Master’s degree or are currently enrolled in graduate studies.
Kyle Composite School anticipates welcoming 75 students in the upcoming academic year. Specific teaching responsibilities will be outlined in consultation with the School Superintendent.
We are looking for an instructional leader who can:
- Energize and implement the PeBL philosophy within the school setting
- Steer the entire school community towards a unified vision of excellence in teaching and learning
- Prioritize the achievement of students
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Utilize a collaborative decision-making leadership style
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly educational environment
- Enhance the school’s and Sun West School Division’s positive reputation
- Work effectively with all stakeholders to define clear objectives and goals
- Build strong ties with the community
- Exhibit outstanding organizational capabilities
- Show proficiency in computer technology
