The ideal candidate will be a native or fluent English speaker with a strong foundation in science education, experience working with children, and the ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons centered around Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver interactive, hands-on science lessons in English tailored for primary school students, ensuring they are accessible to ESL learners.
• Design and implement a science curriculum that emphasizes TBL and PBL, allowing students to connect scientific concepts to real-world issues and projects.
• Conduct captivating experiments and demonstrations to facilitate students' understanding of scientific ideas in an enjoyable manner.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive educational setting.
• Support students in brainstorming and executing science projects aligned with TBL and PBL principles, nurturing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback while maintaining accurate records of their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to incorporate science into interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Organize and oversee science fairs, exhibitions, and other events to showcase student accomplishments and promote the science program within the school community.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in science education, incorporating them into teaching methodologies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the school.

Requirements:

• Native English speaker with exceptional communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science).
• Teaching certification or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a teaching or educational environment.
• Extensive knowledge of primary-level science topics, with the ability to present them in an engaging and accessible way for young learners.
• Experience designing and implementing PBL activities in the classroom.
• Proficiency in teaching science within an ESL context, focusing on engagement and accessibility for non-native English speakers.
• Strong classroom management abilities with the capability to inspire and motivate young students.
• A genuine enthusiasm for science education and a commitment to fostering a love for inquiry and exploration among students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
