About This Role

The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is a prestigious institution located in an extraordinary setting. As an HMC school, we recently achieved outstanding ratings across all areas in a British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection, including educational quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic performance.

BSB accommodates a diverse range of students, educating children from ages 3 to 18, and is highly esteemed within the community. Our curriculum is aligned with the English National Curriculum, offering a wide array of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, supported by a strong enrichment program.

With a student population exceeding 2000 and representing over 74 nationalities, BSB employs more than 315 staff members across three campuses. In 2026, we will inaugurate a new, state-of-the-art campus in Maresme, located just east of Barcelona. This campus will initially serve students from Nursery to Year 6 and will expand to include Year 13 by 2028. This exciting project will feature cutting-edge classrooms, science labs, fully equipped music and art facilities, dedicated areas for play, social interaction, and study, as well as both indoor and outdoor sports amenities, all set against a breathtaking backdrop of mountains and coastline. It promises to offer an exceptional learning atmosphere.

Our dedication to providing an outstanding student experience, combined with strong academic achievements and a focus on character development and global awareness, has fueled BSB's growth. We are committed to continuous improvement, demonstrated through our investment in teacher development via active professional learning communities and reflective practices.

In light of our expansion, we are on the lookout for an exceptional teacher to join our team. If you are interested in being part of an exciting journey and advancing your career, we encourage you to apply.

Currently, we are seeking a part-time Primary Music Teacher to join our distinguished team.
