Learning Support Teacher (m/f/d)

St. George’s School is seeking a Learning Support Teacher for our Primary section, with the role set to begin in August 2026.

The School

For more than 20 years, St. George’s School has committed itself to the international community in Duisburg-Düsseldorf, providing a comprehensive curriculum within a family-friendly atmosphere. What started as a small establishment has transformed into a dynamic community of around 650 students, aged 2-18, representing a wide range of nationalities.

We implement the National Curriculum across our institution and offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth Form.

The Location

Located on a newly developed campus in the heart of Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, St. George’s School enjoys excellent transportation links to Düsseldorf, Duisburg, and the surrounding Rhine-Ruhr area.

Düsseldorf, Germany's sixth-largest city, is a vibrant cultural center with a significant and diverse international population. Centrally situated in Europe, Düsseldorf offers a high standard of living, along with numerous opportunities for travel and cultural experiences.

The Düsseldorf airport is a mere 15km from the school, providing numerous daily flights to the UK, as well as high-speed train services connecting the city with various European destinations.

The Role

We are excited to welcome a Learning Support Teacher to our flourishing primary department.

This position entails delivering high-quality teaching and specialized support for students throughout the Primary School, with a focus on SEND and EAL provisions. The role also involves working collaboratively in the classroom with teachers to promote inclusive education.
