Position: Primary Head of Inclusion

We are seeking a passionate Primary Head of Inclusion to become part of our team, commencing in August 2026.

This position entails a middle leadership role throughout the entire Primary school, primarily aimed at nurturing and managing an inclusive school culture. The Head of Inclusion will champion equitable curriculum access, ensuring that any learning obstacles are identified and effectively addressed through targeted, evidence-driven strategies that enable every student to thrive.

Personal Specifications:

  • A qualified SEND or similar qualification, complemented by a minimum of two years of teaching experience
  • BEd Degree with QTS or a BA in a Primary subject alongside a PGCE
  • Awareness of innovative educational practices and concepts
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the English National Curriculum
  • Strong personal presence coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A B.Ed or BA degree
  • A demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere
  • A strong dedication to the well-being, social, and academic development of all students
  • Experience that significantly contributes to the wider school community
