We are currently seeking a passionate and accomplished Primary Class Teacher and English Leader to join our team in August 2026. This key role within the primary department involves leading and enhancing English instruction throughout the school while also managing your own class. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong dedication to improving English standards and driving overall advancement in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in your assigned primary class, following the National Curriculum for England
  • Lead the development and implementation of the English curriculum across the primary phase
  • Mentor and support fellow educators to improve educational outcomes in English
  • Effectively utilize data to monitor student progress and identify areas requiring intervention or improvement
  • Organize and facilitate professional development sessions that align with school goals
  • Cultivate a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Ensure consistency in planning, assessment, and differentiation in English across different year groups
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to the planning of school enhancements
  • Maintain clear communication with parents and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE with QTS
  • Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, with recent familiarity with the UK curriculum
  • Proven track record of positively influencing student progress, particularly in English
  • Experience or formal involvement in middle leadership, ideally as a subject or phase leader
  • Strong understanding of mastery-based practices and curriculum development in English
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • ADEK approval or eligibility is advantageous
