Physical Education Teacher - Primary

Design and implement PE lessons that cater to various age groups while adhering to the school’s curriculum and national benchmarks. Instruct students on essential motor skills, fitness principles, and introductory sport-specific techniques. Expose learners to an array of physical activities, games, and sports to promote a lifelong commitment to fitness. Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs, skills, and interests of students. Ensure a safe and encouraging environment during all physical activities. Employ positive behavior management techniques to foster participation and teamwork. Evaluate students’ physical abilities, engagement, and development through established criteria. Keep track of assessment results and offer constructive feedback to both students and their parents. Coordinate and facilitate school-wide physical events (such as sports days and fitness challenges). Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support personnel, and school leaders. Engage in staff meetings, ongoing professional development, and school functions. Maintain and care for physical education equipment and report any maintenance requirements. Adhere to school policies while prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.
