Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, your duties will encompass:

  • Communicating a clear vision for Key Stage 1 that aligns with the school's values, while upholding high expectations and standards
  • Fostering student progress, well-being, and positive behavior by establishing ambitious performance goals and nurturing an inclusive learning environment
  • Supervising curriculum delivery, assessment, and staff professional development to ensure innovative and consistent teaching practices within KS1
  • Motivating and efficiently managing teams to encourage collaboration, professional growth, and a commitment to excellence
  • Ensuring effective resource management, including financial planning and staff deployment, to support high-quality learning outcomes
  • Building strong connections with parents, caregivers, external partners, and the local community, serving as an ambassador for both the school and Key Stage 1

Promoting High Performance Learning

  • Leading staff in advancing the HPL framework and fostering a culture of excellence
  • Driving improvements in learner outcomes and promoting cognitive and personal growth
  • Supporting staff training and development in accordance with HPL principles
  • Ensuring compliance with HPL World Class School standards through accreditation processes
