As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life from the very start of a child’s journey.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and Deputy Nursery Manager to support our Nursery Manager in setting up our brand new 0-3 years nursery — a central part of our growing 0-11 all-through vision.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping an exceptional Early Years environment, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a seamless journey where every child is known, nurtured and inspired.

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of our all-year-round provision (8am-6pm), ensuring outstanding care, education and safeguarding for our youngest children. You will be part of Radbrook’s experienced Early Years Team, working collaboratively to deliver a warm, inclusive and ambitious offer for the Radbrook community.

Key responsibilities include:

Leadership — model excellent practice and ensure a culture of warmth, professionalism and high expectations.

Family Partnerships — build strong, trusting relationships with families, ensuring communication is warm, clear and supportive.

Quality of Education — ensure planning, curriculum delivery and assessment is a rich, developmentally appropriate learning experience.

Environment & Resources — ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating and nurturing space that reflects children’s needs and interests.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who is a warm, child centred leader with a deep commitment to early childhood development. You will be the right fit if you have:

Experience of supervising a team within a nursery or early years setting.

Level 3 or above in Early Years.

Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework 2026, safeguarding and all statutory requirements.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with families and staff.

Passionate about creating a nurturing, inspiring environment where children thrive.
