The purpose of Alumnae Relations at Crofton House School is to build connections among alumnae and between alumnae and the School, ensuring these interactions align with their interests and expertise as well as the School's values and commitments. Furthermore, Alumnae Relations plays an essential role in educating students about the importance of alumnae, preparing them to join this community after graduation.

The Coordinator, Alumnae Relations, collaborates closely with the Alumnae Relations Manager and is an integral part of the Advancement Department. The ideal candidate will support the Alumnae Relations program by assisting in event planning and execution, helping the Alumnae Manager with the CHS Alumnae Association, managing alumnae social media platforms, and working alongside School faculty and staff to strengthen the connections between students and alumnae.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager of Alumnae Relations.
  • Facilitate collaboration with Senior School students through initiatives such as Career Conference, Capstone, University Ambassadors, and Speaker Series.
  • Offer administrative assistance for Crofton Connect, the digital platform linking students, alumnae, and the School.
  • Manage social media channels targeting the alumnae audience.
  • Organize alumnae events both on-campus and at off-site locations.
  • Support the CHS Alumnae Association by distributing meeting minutes and sharing information about social media updates and event logistics.
  • Contribute to the development of alumnae stories for School publications, including the alumnae newsletter.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues across the School to enhance cross-departmental events and initiatives.
  • Assist with additional tasks within the Advancement Department as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience:

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage professionally with a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Capable of handling confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion and tact.
  • Exhibits a growth mindset.
  • Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends to support School events.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the independent school environment is beneficial.
  • At least 3 years of relevant administrative experience.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
