We are seeking a qualified educator to join our Wentworth campus (JK - Grade 7) as part of our Associate Faculty (Grade 1-7). This position serves as a gateway into the teaching profession, with many of our current educators having begun as members of our Associate Faculty. The ideal candidate is a flexible, dynamic, collaborative, and inspiring educator eager to become part of a lively teaching and learning community. This is a Temporary Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year, commencing on August 28, 2026, and concluding on June 30, 2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with a teacher mentor
- Working alongside staff and faculty
- Assisting with Teacher-On-Call needs throughout the school
- Supporting students one-on-one and in small groups
- Participating in ISABC and BC Pro D opportunities
- Taking on some School Age Care responsibilities, shuttle bus, and recess coverage
- Engaging in co-curricular and athletic activities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- BC Teaching Certification
- Basic First Aid
- Canadian residency and legal entitlement to work in Canada
