Behaviours and Support Practitioner

Responsibilities for the role:

• Provide embedded in-class support to help learners engage and remain in learning
• Support learners to regulate emotions and behaviours using practical, trauma-informed approaches
• Use de-escalation and restorative practice to reduce incidents and support reintegration
• Contribute to behaviour risk assessments and behaviour support plans
• Support learners during transitions, including into main campus learning spaces and off-site activity
• Record incidents, interventions and outcomes accurately and escalate safeguarding concerns promptly
