About This Role
Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is seeking a skilled Admissions Assistant to join our thriving Admissions team.
Start date: 18th November 2024
The Admissions Assistant will support the Admissions Team by working closely with the Admissions Manager to deliver a professional and high-quality admissions service for enquirers, applicants, and their families, both locally in the UAE and internationally.
This role requires collaboration to ensure a high standard of support, maintaining efficient and effective services. The post-holder will provide administrative assistance to uphold procedures and guarantee the success of specific projects.
This dynamic position entails daily interaction with academic staff, students, and visiting families. The ideal candidate must excel under pressure, possess outstanding organizational skills, demonstrate initiative, and be capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively. A unified and coherent approach is vital to ensure the team remains well-informed about processes and procedures, enabling effective contributions to all team activities.
Responsibilities will include managing enquiries, scheduling appointments, and conducting interviews and assessments as necessary. The Admissions Assistant will need to provide ongoing support to the team.
Additionally, the Admissions Assistant must be knowledgeable about all aspects of the Admissions Manager's role to cover for them when they are unavailable.
Person Specification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience: 2-3 years of customer service sales experience, preferably within a service provider industry. Experience in the education sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
