Job Overview:
In the role of PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be tasked with fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes inquiry-based learning in accordance with the IB PYP framework. You will support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students while working collaboratively with fellow educators to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related area (minimum requirement)
- No prior teaching experience is necessary; a passion for educating young learners is crucial
- Strong communication abilities in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus but not required
- Capacity to design and execute inquiry-based lessons in line with IB PYP curriculum standards
- Proficient classroom management skills, demonstrating patience and flexibility
- A collaborative spirit eager to contribute as part of a diverse international team
