Teacher of Business Studies and Economics

Capital School Bahrain is looking to hire an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to become part of our expanding secondary team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5, ensuring excellent outcomes at IGCSE/GCSE and A-Level, while also contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our Sixth Form offerings. This position is perfect for a confident educator with a solid understanding of the subject and experience in post-16 teaching.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Economics for KS4 and KS5
• Creating engaging, well-structured lessons that meet examination specifications
• Effectively preparing students for GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, and vocational pathways
• Utilizing assessment data to guide teaching and facilitate student advancement
• Encouraging high standards, independence, and critical thinking
• Collaborating within the Humanities/Business faculty and the broader school community

The successful applicant will possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
• Strong expertise in Business Studies and/or Economics
• Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 students
• Background in A-Level Business and/or Economics
• Desirable experience in BTEC Business
• Effective classroom management skills and proven teaching practices
• A dedication to inclusive education and student wellbeing
