Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education or a related field (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art at the middle school level
- In-depth understanding of Common Core standards as they pertain to art education
- Capability to create engaging lesson plans that promote creativity and skill enhancement
- Proficiency in various artistic mediums and techniques appropriate for middle school students
- Strong classroom management abilities and the capacity to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Effective communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
