About This Role

Bloom World Academy is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Learning Support Teacher to join our team beginning in August 2026.

As an IB World School, Bloom World Academy is committed to providing inclusive, student-centered education that nurtures the academic, social, and emotional development of each student. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring their successful integration and achievement within the classroom environment.

Candidates should have experience or a solid understanding of inquiry-based and play-oriented learning approaches, showcasing their ability to customize educational support for a diverse range of learning needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting students during lessons and implementing specialized interventions, working closely with teachers to ensure effective differentiation and accessibility within the curriculum.

The ideal applicant will be a reflective and caring educator, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to cultivate positive, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You will demonstrate high standards in both written and spoken communication and exhibit a genuine passion for inclusion, student wellbeing, and advocacy.

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Teacher who can collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, the SENDco, and leadership teams to support students across the school. You will be essential in developing and executing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), monitoring student progress, and assisting in the implementation of evidence-based intervention strategies.

While knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is preferred, it is not mandatory, as thorough training will be provided. A solid understanding of SEND provisions, assessment for learning, and inclusive practices is essential, along with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
