Job Description:
As an Elementary School Interventionist, you will work in close partnership with classroom educators and support staff to identify and support students who need additional academic assistance. This role involves designing and implementing targeted intervention strategies that help students overcome learning challenges, build their skills, and thrive within the elementary curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an interventionist or in a similar learning support capacity within an elementary school setting
- Extensive knowledge of evidence-based intervention methods for literacy, numeracy, and other essential subjects
- Ability to assess student needs using both formal and informal evaluation techniques
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to create individualized learning plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for assessment and instruction
