About This Role

Aldar Academies is thrilled to announce the opening for the position of Primary Teacher at the Pearl British Academy, commencing in August 2026.

Candidates must have a solid grasp of the English National Curriculum. RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will deliver outstanding teaching and learning, in accordance with the school's Teaching and Learning Policy by:

  • Creating a learning environment that promotes exceptional educational practices.
  • Establishing clear objectives for teaching and learning.
  • Setting specific targets that build on prior accomplishments.
  • Recognizing students with SEN (POD), EAL, and G&T needs and ensuring their needs are met through customized differentiation.
  • Designing lessons and learning activities that maintain high levels of engagement, pace, and challenge.
  • Effectively utilizing assessment for learning.
  • Using performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and provide differentiated instruction.
  • Integrating ICT effectively to boost student learning and progress.
  • Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's 'Behaviour for Learning Policy' and encouraging positive behaviors related to punctuality, conduct, work quality, and homework.
  • Assessing the achievement of learning objectives and using this data to improve teaching methods.
  • Grading student work at least bi-weekly and setting progress targets as per the school's Marking Policy.
  • Systematically assessing and documenting student progress, using performance data to inform planning and learning outcomes.
  • Conducting assessments as mandated by examination bodies and following departmental and school protocols.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports for parents.
  • Participating in and supporting parent and student events.
  • Engaging in curriculum development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Classroom Teacher within the English Curriculum.
