Job Description:

As a Secondary Specialist Teacher at Kuwait National English School, your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of young learners. You will foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, while also establishing strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues. Your duties will include providing comprehensive instruction across the curriculum, including IGCSE and AS levels.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics

- PGCE in Education or a related discipline

- At least 3 years of teaching experience in primary or elementary education

- QTS Certificate is required

- Native English speaker

- Extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum, particularly IGCSE and A Level frameworks

- Proven ability to assist students with their IGCSE and AS level coursework

- Commitment to supporting students as they transition to post-secondary education

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues

- Ability to create effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles

- Strong classroom management skills that promote respect and discipline

- Proficiency in using educational technology in teaching practices
