Secondary Teacher of Computer Science (August 2026)
About This Role
Dove Green Private School (DGPS) is excited to be a British community school that provides a distinctive educational journey in the lively Dubai Investment Park, conveniently located near the Expo 2020 site. Our British educational philosophy is rooted in respect, tolerance, inclusivity, and a commitment to academic excellence, aiming to nurture well-rounded individuals with a global outlook. We are dedicated to maintaining an environment that respects the esteemed traditions of British education while encouraging a worldwide perspective. Having recently celebrated the successful launch of our inaugural iGCSE results, our secondary school is preparing to establish its Sixth Form in August 2026. As we transition into our new building featuring exceptional facilities, we continue to exemplify educational excellence, fostering a joyful, supportive, and inclusive community. Our innovative approach to education goes beyond traditional boundaries, and as the first UK curriculum school in the area, DGPS is recognized for spearheading educational innovation while upholding community values and addressing the needs of Dubai's rapidly developing southern region.
We are in search of enthusiastic, compassionate, and understanding educators who are prepared to teach, lead, and develop our GCSE, A-Level, and BTEC courses, becoming key members of a progressive community school with an expanding reputation in the region. As an essential part of our newly expanded team, your role will ensure that the British ethos is integrated throughout our educational practices, fostering an environment where students thrive academically and develop a global mindset in alignment with the Dubai Education 33 strategy (E33). This strategy aims to provide each student with a world-class education that meets the highest international standards while remaining grounded in Emirati values. E33 acknowledges the diverse multicultural fabric of Dubai, ensuring that both heritage and diversity are central to the educational experience.
Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to engaging with the local community and finding ways to involve parents, establishing effective partnerships. The ideal candidate will align with DGPS's core values and ethos, contributing to a community that merges the best of British education with the E33 initiative, preparing students for success in an ever-changing world while demonstrating a profound understanding and appreciation of the region's values. Above all, we seek insightful, motivated, and grounded educators who are devoted to cultivating a culture of collaborative success and progressive learning through our vision of learning and growing together.
Parent feedback reflects our ethos: "Teachers know my child; they don’t need to look at their laptop to tell me about their progress. That is the most amazing thing. Love the school and the teachers!”
If you are excited about the prospect of joining a high-performing, welcoming, and inclusive school that offers opportunities for professional development, we would be delighted to hear from you. A strong drive, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach are essential.
