About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Classroom Teacher for August 2026 with a passion for teaching across the primary years within a British curriculum international school setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire children, nurture curiosity and foundational skills, and contribute to the continued success of Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya.
The school also offers the possibility of middle leadership responsibilities, specifically Assistant Head and English Lead, for suitable candidates who are interested in progressing their leadership pathway alongside their teaching role.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons based on the UK National Curriculum, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.
Language Support: Provide additional support to students with English as a second language to aid their understanding and participation in English-medium instruction.
Classroom Management: Establish a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment that encourages student engagement and active learning.
Student Progress: Regularly assess, track, and report on student progress while differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Collaborative Practice: Work closely with colleagues to plan cross-curricular units, share best practices, and contribute to school-wide initiatives and events.
Skills Required
Primary Teaching Experience: Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within a British or international curriculum framework.
Effective Instruction: Strong classroom delivery skills and the ability to design engaging, differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.

Additional Advantage: Experience Supporting EAL Learners: Particularly Mandarin-speaking students in English-medium classrooms.
