Founded in 2017, Majestic International College (MIC) has established itself as a member of CIS and a notable private high school delivering an English-language curriculum. As the only Canadian B.C. offshore school in Guangdong, Majestic B.C. International School (MBCIS) is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards for students in grades 10-12. Basic requirements for candidates:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (a graduate degree is preferred).
• Eligibility for British Columbia teacher certification.
• At least two years of teaching experience in Canadian schools, North American curricula, or international schools is preferred.
• A professional teaching demeanor that aligns with MIC’s mission and values, emphasizing collaboration, perseverance, and responsibility.
• Preferred experience working with enthusiastic and motivated secondary students.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and an openness to engage in school-based in-service activities.

Employment Benefits for a 2-year contract period:

Compensation Package: In line with the B.C. salary grid, based on relevant teaching experience with adolescents, with a pre-tax annual salary ranging from CAD 52,000 to CAD 80,000.

Welfare Package:

• Flight allowance:
  • Option 1: CAD 1,800 per academic year for flight expenses.
  • Option 2: Reimbursement for one round trip (at the beginning and end of the contract) between the home country and China; a CAD 1,800 allowance will be issued between the first and second year of the contract.
• A monthly allowance of 3,000 CNY for housing and transportation if residing off-campus, or a fully furnished modern on-campus apartment.
