About This Role

At Rashid and Latifa School (RLS), our people are at the heart of our mission. In line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision of a future shaped by dreamers, RLS is dedicated to being the most enjoyable workplace while leading educational innovation in Dubai. Founded by Royal Decree, our institution is focused on developing future leaders of the UAE and global thinkers through a curriculum that emphasizes culture, wellness, play, innovation, and community.

Within RLS, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) are essential in fostering inclusive, engaging, and curiosity-driven learning environments that embody our commitment to Playful Pedagogy and Transdisciplinary Learning. LSAs assist students in all classrooms and across various curriculum areas from Early Years to Year 9, enabling them to access the curriculum through meaningful, authentic experiences connected to real-world contexts. They are key in creating inclusive settings where students can take risks, form relationships, and cultivate self-regulation, resilience, and independence through playful and intentional learning experiences.

Following the RLS Play Continuum and Experience-Based Learning (EBL) framework, LSAs work closely with teachers to promote learning that is exploratory, imaginative, and attuned to student interests. They help to scaffold inquiry, spark curiosity, and maintain engagement across subjects, ensuring that every child, including those with additional needs, is equipped to flourish as a confident, creative, and empathetic learner.

This position advocates that play is not merely a phase but a fundamental principle and a crucial tool for developing the competencies and skills of future leaders.

The ideal candidate will be pivotal in establishing RLS as a 'Global Leader in Education,' delivering an engaging and adapted UK National Curriculum within a vibrant and research-focused environment. This role requires a leader capable of integrating our principles into the core of our school, steering students toward a meaningful and fulfilling future.

We provide a competitive salary package, a strong commitment to professional development, and a respectful culture that values every educator as a learning leader.

RLS is devoted to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourages applications from all candidates who align with the job profile.

We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Our institution acknowledges its responsibility to take all appropriate measures to promote safe practices and protect children from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Our safeguarding framework ensures adherence to best practices, and therefore, candidates will undergo thorough checks, with our interview process emphasizing safeguarding.

During the application process, you will need to provide a complete employment history along with at least three professional references from the past ten years (including your current Head of School or organization), which will be verified during the interview. Please be prepared with copies of your passport, birth certificate, attested educational qualifications, police checks from every country where you have lived, and experience letters from the past decade.

Applications will only be accepted with the following components:
- A complete application submission via the provided jotform link
