KLS Summer Camp Teacher (Part-Time)

Kensington Learning Space (KLS) is on the lookout for passionate and creative educators to join our Summer Camp Team for 2026. Our summer camps aim to provide children with a delightful week filled with interactive learning, imaginative experiences, physical activities, and exploration in a supportive environment. We seek individuals who flourish in a child-centric setting and can bring energy, compassion, and creativity into the classroom.

Camp Schedule:

• Week 1 — July 6–10
• Week 2 — July 13–17
• Week 3 — July 20–24
• Week 4 — July 27–31
• Week 5 — August 3–7
• Week 6 — August 10–14

Candidates may apply for one or more weeks, with preference given to those who can commit to multiple weeks to provide continuity for the children.

Age Groups:

Classes will accommodate the following age ranges:

• 4–5 years
• 6–7 years
• 8–11 years

Camp Details:

• Minimum commitment: 1 week
• Salary: tax-free
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Camp hours: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Lunch will be provided on-site

Each class will feature:

• A maximum of 15 students
• At least one teaching assistant
• Pre-prepared lesson plans and activities
• Specialist sessions conducted by guest instructors throughout the week

Teachers are encouraged to adapt activities and exchange ideas to create a memorable and enjoyable camp experience for students.

Preparation:

Prior to the start of the camps, educators will be invited to visit KLS to:

• Evaluate their classroom setup
• Explore available resources
• Meet the team
• Ensure they are thoroughly prepared and confident

• Enthusiastic about engaging with children
• Energetic, imaginative, and well-organized
• Comfortable leading group activities
• Proficient in English communication
• Experienced in education, camps, childcare, or related fields
