Head of Department – English

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing the English department to ensure outstanding curriculum development and execution

- Assessing the effectiveness of teaching, learning, evaluation, and student progress within the department

- Supporting, mentoring, and developing the proficiency of English teachers through coaching and opportunities for professional development

- Effectively using assessment data to guide instructional strategies and enhance student performance

- Participating in school-wide projects and working closely with senior leadership

- Promoting a dynamic environment that encourages reading, writing, and verbal communication across the school
