GEMS International School, Al Khail is currently seeking experienced Drama Teachers, with positions available starting August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, stimulate critical thinking, and foster a passion for learning.
• Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that cultivates individual strengths and accommodates diverse learning styles.
• Tailor teaching methods to address the varied needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or require additional assistance.
• Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enrich student learning experiences and boost engagement.
• Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, utilizing data to guide instruction and provide personalized support.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
• Participate in the broader school community through extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives that enhance student engagement.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote student growth and well-being.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and self-reflection to continually improve teaching practices.
• Uphold the values of GEMS and the principles outlined in the IB Learner Profile in all school-related activities.
