Pelican Falls First Nations High School operates as a private institution under the management of the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council, with guidance from the Sioux Lookout Area Chiefs. This unique school is located on Pelican Lake, within the traditional territory of Lac Seul First Nation and the Municipality of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with extensive knowledge in food science, food safety, nutrition, and culinary arts will be given preference. A valid Food Handlers Certification is mandatory. Applicants must hold membership in the Ontario College of Teachers, and prior teaching experience with First Nation students is advantageous. A strong appreciation and understanding of First Nations culture and traditions is crucial. Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Determined by QECO rating (Years 0 to 11) as follows:
- A1 - $54,280 - $89,063
- A2 - $56,513 - $95,029
- A3 - $60,967 - $102,973
- A4 - $63,862 - $109,533
Every staff member enjoys 13 weeks of vacation, which can be utilized as vacation days, financial compensation, or a mixture of both.
