Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a passion for learning.
• Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that highlights individual strengths and accommodates diverse learning styles.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varied needs of all students, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, gifted students, and those needing extra support.
• Utilize technology and innovative strategies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Assess, document, and share student progress effectively, leveraging data to guide instruction and individualized support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and enhance curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
• Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider community to promote student development and well-being.
• Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
• Uphold the GEMS values and the principles of the IB Learner Profile in every facet of school life.
