Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Humanities Teacher to become a part of our vibrant, high-achieving team starting August 2026.
In the role of Secondary Humanities Teacher at our international British curriculum school, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level courses where applicable. What We Are Looking For:
We seek Humanities Teachers who can:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that align with British curriculum standards, with the capacity to teach Humanities up to at least GCSE level (and A-Level where applicable).
•
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills through creative and effective teaching methods across disciplines such as History, Geography, and related Humanities subjects.
•
Implement various formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and enhance student progress.
•
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching and learning materials.
•
Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students while promoting the school’s values, routines, and high expectations.
•
Foster strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication about student progress, attainment, and next steps.
•
Actively engage in school events, professional development, and broader whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must:
•
Be fluent in English.
•
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject along with a PGCE / QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).
•
Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international context.
•
Exhibit strong classroom management abilities and a commitment to student wellbeing.
•
Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
