Position Overview
SNA Marianapolis International School – Bien Hoa Campus is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, student-focused, and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to enhance our academic team. The ideal candidate will implement a high-caliber physical education program that aligns with the American curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) philosophy, fostering students’ physical health, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits.
This position includes teaching across multiple grade levels (Elementary, Middle, and High School) and playing a significant role in the school’s comprehensive educational mission.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
•
Design and conduct engaging Physical Education lessons that adhere to American curriculum standards.
•
Cultivate students' physical literacy, motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
•
Employ differentiated instruction strategies to cater to the varied needs of students.
•
Encourage healthy living, fitness awareness, and overall student wellbeing.
•
Utilize assessment methods to track and report on student progress.
Curriculum & Program Development
•
Assist in creating a thorough PE curriculum across all grade levels.
•
Facilitate interdisciplinary learning and contribute to school-wide wellbeing programs.
•
Coordinate sports activities, competitions, and school athletic initiatives.
Student Engagement & Safeguarding
•
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere.
•
Uphold effective management in both classroom and field settings.
•
Adhere to school safeguarding and health & safety protocols.
Professional Collaboration
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues in curriculum development and student assistance.
•
Engage in professional development and participate in school events.
•
Maintain effective communication with parents and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
•
Possession of a valid teaching license/certification (from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or an equivalent is preferred).
Experience
•
At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school setting is preferred.
•
Experience with multi-age group instruction (from elementary to high school) is advantageous.
•
Familiarity with the American curriculum/AP philosophy is highly desirable.
