About This Role

Coruña British International School is an esteemed British international institution, recognized as the first in the city to achieve NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation. The curriculum at our school is fully endorsed by both the Galician Government and the British Council, making it one of the leading British schools in the Galicia region, together with our sister school in Vigo. Established over 8 years ago, this innovative school, rooted in strong family values, has successfully delivered the English National Curriculum to hundreds of students, continuously adapting to the evolving needs of modern learners. Our student body comprises children aged three to 14, who engage with the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum.

We are proud to be part of the Globeducate British International Schools network, a cluster created in 2021 that unites nine schools across Europe. Globeducate now encompasses over 60 schools in 12 countries, serving more than 40,000 students daily.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Primary Teacher to join our team:

REQUIREMENTS


A Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field (such as Early Years or Childhood Studies).


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognized primary teaching qualification.


Demonstrated experience in a primary school environment, preferably within a British or international curriculum.


A solid understanding of UK primary curriculum expectations for both core and foundation subjects.


Adept at designing and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.


Experience in assessing student progress, utilizing data to inform planning, and providing high-quality feedback to students and their families.


Strong classroom management capabilities and the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning atmosphere.


Confidence in supporting students from various language backgrounds, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).


Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in an international, collaborative environment.


A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
