ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a passionate and committed Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our faculty for a maternity leave cover from mid-April until the end of June 2026. This role presents an exciting chance to guide young learners on their educational journey, fostering their social, emotional, and personal growth within a supportive setting.

Instruct and manage a primary class in accordance with IB PYP and curriculum standards.
•
Design and present engaging, age-appropriate lessons across essential subjects.
•
Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes holistic student development.
•
Employ inquiry-based learning approaches to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
•
Continuously assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods to accommodate varied needs.
•
Work alongside colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and contribute to school-wide projects.
•
Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities, supporting their social and personal development.
•
Maintain precise records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their families.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in Education or a related field, accompanied by a recognized teaching qualification.
•
Prior teaching experience, ideally within an international or IB school setting.
•
Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered instructional techniques.
•
Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, engaging classroom that encourages active learning.
•
Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
•
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
•
A dedication to contributing to the broader school community.
