Job Description:
•
Teaching and Team Actions
•
Collaborate with individual students or groups, in partnership with the Class Teacher.
•
Assist with the educational needs of students in the classroom, under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
•
While teaching, align your actions with those of the Class Teacher, adhering to our school’s Teaching and Learning Policy and curriculum guidelines.
•
Accompany students to specialized lessons in Art, Music, PE, and Library, providing cooperative support to the Specialist Teachers in these areas.
•
During Language lessons, transition students to the respective Language Teachers at the beginning of the lessons and collect them afterward, supporting the Class Teacher throughout this process.
•
Take on the responsibility for the class in the absence of the Class Teacher for brief periods.
•
Pastoral Caring for Students
•
Welcome students each day and assist them in settling down.
•
Conduct visual health screenings and maintain daily records of students' temperatures and health status.
•
Provide guidance and support to individual students or small groups, as directed by the Class Teacher.
•
Communicate with parents as instructed by the Class Teacher, typically by documenting and reading entries in students’ Communication books.
•
Work with the Class Teacher and students to nurture values of care, balance, and open-mindedness.
•
Resource Management
•
Prepare educational materials for students' learning activities.
•
Organize, clean, and maintain equipment at least weekly, keeping records of these activities.
•
Photocopy, scan, record, and cross-reference materials to ensure efficient resource usage and documentation.
•
Consistently promote a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
•
Environments’ Optimizing and Expressing Students’ Outcomes
•
Collect, account for, display, and mount students’ work as directed by the Class Teacher.
•
Assist the Class Teacher and students in fostering students’ expressions based on their needs and capabilities.
•
Share responsibilities with the Class Teacher for publishing regular class updates and cataloging reflections.
•
Assessment and Observation
•
Make observations and contribute to record-keeping as requested by the Class Teacher.
•
Perform administrative tasks to assist the Class Teacher during assessment and reporting periods, particularly during semester-end evaluations.
•
Other Duties and Professional Development
•
During the school term, undertake after-school and waiting room duties as per the duty roster or in agreement with the Principal.
•
Participate in relevant staff training sessions and meetings.
•
During school breaks, as directed by the Senior Administrator or Pre-School Supervisor, lead holiday activities and perform playground, bus supervision, and Hall duties, among others.
•
At least a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (English) or an equivalent qualification.
•
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
