At Nün Academy, we promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development—creating a unique educational community. We are on the lookout for an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to become part of our growing Secondary & Senior School. Being able to teach IB Diploma Economics would be an advantageous addition.
Your responsibilities will include:
•
Designing and delivering captivating, impactful Mathematics lessons across KS3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma (DP) levels, in accordance with the Cambridge/UK/DP curriculum framework.
•
Enhancing students' fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities across all key mathematical areas—number, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus.
•
Preparing students for achievement in IGCSE Mathematics and IB Diploma Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation), as well as IB Diploma Economics.
•
Utilizing data and assessments to guide planning, differentiation, and personalized interventions, while providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their families.
•
Engaging in co-curricular mathematics enrichment opportunities such as Olympiads, math clubs, or mentoring programs that foster creativity and challenge.
•
Upholding best practices in safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing, while encouraging a culture of curiosity, respect, and academic excellence.
•
Collaborating within the Mathematics Department on curriculum mapping, vertical progression, assessment design, and resource creation.
What we are looking for:
•
A degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field, alongside a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or international equivalent).
•
Proven experience teaching within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, demonstrating successful outcomes at IGCSE level and ideally at IB Diploma level.
•
Experience with A-Level Mathematics will be viewed favorably.
•
Strong classroom techniques with inclusive strategies for multilingual learners and effective integration of digital tools.
•
A reflective educator who embodies a collaborative spirit, a growth mindset, and a deep dedication to student wellbeing and holistic education.
•
A welcoming, values-oriented culture with high standards and outstanding professional development opportunities.
•
Pathways for career growth and collaboration in a progressive international setting.
•
A competitive international compensation package (details shared with shortlisted candidates).
Nün Academy is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are contingent upon suitable background checks and references (e.g., ACRO/DBS or international police checks).
Application process:
We invite you to submit your CV, a brief cover letter detailing your suitability for the role, and contact information for two referees. Interviews will occur on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
