KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Spanish instruction across all key stages, ensuring students achieve their language and personal development objectives.

Promote cultural awareness, global perspectives, and international understanding through the teaching of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
•
Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress, providing timely feedback and personalized support.
•
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Spanish curriculum, including interdisciplinary projects and enrichment opportunities.

Encourage participation in language competitions, cultural events, exchange programs, and extracurricular activities.
•
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning with broader educational goals and international viewpoints.
•
Utilize digital tools and platforms to enrich teaching, assessment, and student engagement.
•
Engage with the wider school community by taking part in events, workshops, and initiatives for parent involvement.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
•
Proven experience teaching Spanish across various age groups, ideally within an international or IB curriculum.
•
Outstanding subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students to become confident and articulate communicators.
•
A strong commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and global citizenship.
•
Ability to integrate technology into lessons to facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.
•
