ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Cold Lake School caters to students from Kindergarten through Grade 9, serving an enrollment of approximately 10 students. The school boasts a teaching principal, a classroom teacher, and three support staff members who collaborate on multi-age classroom instruction. Nestled in the picturesque community of Sherridon, the school is conveniently reachable by road and is located around 100 km from Cranberry Portage and 120 km from Flin Flon, a fully equipped community.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A Master’s degree in education or administration and/or a Certificate in School Leadership is a plus.
• At least five years of teaching experience along with five years in an administrative capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting and executing both short- and long-term school-based initiatives.
• Essential proficiency with school-based technology.
• Familiarity with Indigenous Way of Life is advantageous.
• Experience in a northern community is also viewed as beneficial.
