Since its establishment in September 2022, Downe House Riyadh has become the first premium British private all-girls’ school (Boys Pre-School-Year 4) for ages 3 to 18 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Situated in the northern part of Riyadh, within the prominent neighbourhood of Aqeeq, our curriculum has been thoughtfully tailored for the Saudi Arabian context, ensuring our girls excel in Arabic language and Islamic Studies, alongside a variety of other subjects. Downe House Riyadh operates in alignment with the standards of a UK independent school, and we expect all staff to actively engage in co-curricular activities with a positive attitude.

The Position - PE Teacher

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with the qualities, skills, and experience necessary to contribute to Downe House Riyadh's mission of being the leading girls' school in Saudi Arabia. The successful applicant will play a vital role in enhancing the PE Department, while also enjoying excellent opportunities for career development and advancement into middle leadership roles and beyond.

We seek a dynamic PE Teacher who is dedicated to inspiring students across all age levels. This role demands a flexible teaching approach throughout the school and a strong commitment to developing both competitive and recreational sports teams. Candidates should be ready to lead, coach, and support students during after-hours matches, which may include occasional weekend commitments, while fostering teamwork, resilience, and school spirit at every level.

Remuneration

As anticipated, Downe House Riyadh offers a competitive salary package, which will be discussed further with shortlisted candidates.
