Teacher of MYP Science & Mathematics
About This Role
We are seeking outstanding and motivated Teachers of Science who are dedicated to innovative teaching methodologies and can effectively teach their subject area (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) up to IB Diploma standards. This role is intended for an experienced educator capable of addressing diverse student needs, building confidence, and enhancing learning through each lesson. While the primary emphasis will be on MYP Science instruction, the selected candidate may also have the chance to teach IGCSE Science (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) and assist High School Diploma students (ages 16-18) in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide lessons tailored to various age groups and ability levels, adjusting to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Actively engage with the wider school community by participating in sports events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment programs.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
- Show a strong commitment to the safeguarding of all students.
- Oversee subject-specific administrative duties and contribute to departmental meetings.
- Follow the school’s assessment and reporting guidelines, and take part in parent meetings as needed.

- You are an educator dedicated to continuous growth and exemplify the qualities of the IB Learner Profile.
- Possess a good honours degree and/or additional qualifications in a relevant subject area.
- Value and promote the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Have a passion for your subject and the ability to motivate students.
- Stay updated on teaching advancements and embrace new methodologies.
- Have significant experience guiding students through the MYP Personal Project and the IBDP Extended Essay.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues and school leadership.
