About This Role
We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to become a part of our team at GEMS Metropole Motor City, Dubai, starting in March 2025.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Speech and Language Therapist eager to contribute to our prestigious school and committed to delivering exceptional educational support. You will take charge of various aspects of the inclusion department for the designated year groups. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, Curriculum, Intervention, Pastoral Care, Professional Development, Assessment, and Teaching and Learning.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Substantial and verifiable experience in a similar role or in SEN teaching within a high-achieving department.
- A Degree and Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent qualification, such as a Master's or Bachelor's in Speech and Language Sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years in the education sector, including at least 2 years dedicated to Inclusion.
- A strong desire to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
- An ambition to thrive in a world-class school with genuine opportunities for career advancement.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s in Speech and Language Sciences.
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric environment (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
