About This Role

This full-time position is within our Technology department, where the educator will support students in accordance with established curricular standards while fostering a nurturing and safe learning atmosphere inspired by Jesus' love for every child. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading Chapel or Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions
  • Supervising students in various environments
  • Actively participating in and contributing to both departmental and school-wide meetings
  • Collaborating on multiple initiatives aimed at enhancing school performance
  • Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration
  • Engaging in continuous professional development opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and facilitate safe and impactful learning experiences for students that promote respect for all.
  • Teach specific grade-level subjects to a diverse student population, following the standards set by the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA).
  • Submit unit and lesson plans for assigned classes on time each semester.
  • Employ a variety of relevant formative and summative assessments tailored to the subject matter and student demographic.
  • Help students achieve their learning objectives by offering constructive feedback based on assessments.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, fellow staff, and other stakeholders to enrich student learning experiences.
  • Partner with the Head of Technology and Technology Specialist to co-develop the technology curriculum.
  • Co-facilitate robotics teams in conjunction with a team of robotics coaches.
  • Coordinate with principals, division heads, and the Head of Technology to ensure tasks are completed and evaluated.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Design Technology, or a related field. Degrees in related areas such as Mathematics, Engineering, and Science will also be considered. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is necessary.
  • Relevant certifications (such as Google Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Apple Teacher, etc.) will be considered advantageous.
  • A commitment to professional growth and a readiness to contribute to team and school leadership is crucial.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication capabilities.
  • Familiarity with computer programming and educational robotics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in software relevant to graphic design and web development.
  • A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, ability to collaborate within a team, and a results-driven approach.
  • A dedication to promoting academic success for all students.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Compensation

  • Starting salary ranges from ฿530,000 to ฿800,000+. Increases are determined by the type(s) of degree, teaching certification, prior experience at ICSN, and total years of experience.
  • Annual benefits include an airfare stipend, housing allowance, comprehensive health insurance (for the employee and dependents), a provident fund, and additional perks.
  • Families will receive extra benefits such as a monthly child stipend and free tuition.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
