Primary Responsibilities:


Support the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning experiences in English Language and Literature.


Work closely with the classroom teacher to assist in the advancement of students, both individually and in small groups.


Provide specialized support for students, especially those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).


Help enhance students’ reading, writing, and communication skills.


Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


Assist in preparing teaching resources and maintaining an organized classroom.


Engage with the wider school community by participating in enrichment activities as appropriate.

Ideal candidates should have:


A degree in English or a related field.


Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.


A genuine passion for English and a commitment to supporting young learners.


A flexible, proactive approach and a positive attitude towards work.


Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


A belief in every student's potential to attain high standards, coupled with the drive to help them achieve this.

Preferred qualifications include:


Experience working with EAL students.


Familiarity with integrating technology into educational practices.


Experience in an international school setting.

Important Information:

For Greek Applicants - A relevant degree and completion of the registry of teachers for private schools (Epetirida) is required, or you must have the qualifications to do so. Please note that international qualifications are not recognized in Greece as qualified teacher status for Greek candidates.

For International Applicants - You must have a relevant degree from your home country, along with an appropriate teaching qualification. UK applicants need to hold QTS and a Teacher Reference Number from the Department for Education. Please be aware that the iPGCE is not recognized in Greece, and Language Qualifications such as TESOL and DELTA are not accepted.
