ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for exceptional Pre-KG Classroom Teachers. This position is available at ADNOC School, Ruwais Campus, situated in the Western Region (Al Dhafra) of Abu Dhabi, with a start date in January 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Establishing an engaging learning environment that fosters exemplary practice.
- Defining clear teaching and learning outcomes.
- Designing tasks that stimulate student interest and challenge their abilities.
- Setting ambitious expectations for student performance.
- Establishing clear targets that build upon prior achievements.
- Recognizing students with special educational needs or exceptional abilities, ensuring their requirements are met through tailored differentiation.
- Structuring lessons effectively to maintain momentum, motivation, and challenge.
- Utilizing assessment as a tool for learning effectively.
- Leveraging performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and provide differentiated instruction.
- Upholding discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and promoting positive practices regarding punctuality, behavior, work standards, and homework completion.
- Employing diverse teaching strategies to:
i. Tailor approaches to content, organize information, present key ideas, and utilize appropriate vocabulary.
ii. Engage in effective questioning, actively listen to students, and address misconceptions and errors.
iii. Select suitable learning resources, enhancing study skills through the library, ICT, and other educational technologies.
- Evaluating the achievement of learning objectives to refine specific teaching aspects.
- Grading student work at least biweekly and establishing targets for progress.
- Using performance data to guide lesson planning, ensuring that learning and teaching continue to add value.
- Systematically assessing and recording students' progress, maintaining records to ensure comprehension and completion, monitoring strengths and areas for growth, informing planning, and recognizing student achievement levels.
- Conducting assessments as required by examination bodies and school procedures.
- Preparing and delivering informative reports to parents.
- Participating in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and work schemes.
- Staying current in subject knowledge through continuous professional development and professional reading.
- Attending relevant professional development workshops.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.
- Delivering lessons that motivate students to excel and achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Dedicated and compassionate educators.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, along with a PGCE or other teaching qualification and at least two years of relevant teaching experience.
- Familiarity with the American curriculum.
- Commitment to a comprehensive enrichment program.
- Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Respect for all members of the school community.
- Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language.
- A positive, solution-oriented approach to professional life.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police clearance.
