Job Requirements

Knowledge:

• Demonstrated understanding of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Awareness of the importance of our school's ethos.
• Comprehension of effective classroom management principles.

Skills and Abilities:

• Dedication to ensuring curriculum continuity across different phases.
• Commitment to the ongoing updating and maintenance of lesson planning.
• Attention to detail in documenting assessment and intervention strategies.
• Ability to actively support an inclusive equal opportunities policy.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of teaching IGCSE.
• Demonstrated success in previous teaching roles or placements.
• Proven ability to foster positive personal relationships and work as a team player.
• Experience working with students facing both learning and behavioral challenges.

Educational:

• Qualified teacher holding a Bachelor's degree in Education.
• Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country where the degree was obtained.
• Evidence of active participation in continuing professional development (CPD) initiatives.

Special Requirements:

• Applicant must adhere to and promote the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
• A Criminal Record Disclosure will be necessary prior to employment.
