ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Skownan School caters to students from Nursery through Grade 9, with an enrollment of 130 students supported by a committed team of 10 educators and 17 support staff members. Located in Skownan, approximately one and a half hours northeast of Dauphin, the community provides vital amenities, including a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, and health center. The local economy is supported by activities such as hunting, fishing, and eco-tourism.

WHAT YOU BRING
- A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification).
- A solid understanding of provincial curricula.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Competence in using school-based technology.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with the Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset).
- Experience in a northern community (considered an asset).
