Elementary Teacher (Early Years Grade K- 3)
About This Role
The ideal applicant should have the following qualifications: * A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or the potential to secure teacher certification in Manitoba. * A track record of successful teaching in an early years setting. * Knowledge of the K-8 Manitoba curriculum along with experience in cross-curricular planning. * A team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with other educators in a consultative manner. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * A willingness to work cooperatively as a member of an educational team. * Excellent classroom management skills. * An understanding and sensitivity towards the traditions and aspirations of students from various backgrounds and abilities. * A commitment to culturally responsive education. * The capability to create a program that includes a northern perspective.
