About This Role
About the Position: The Tutoring Center Dubai is in search of a passionate and skilled Math and Physics Tutor to assist students up to Year 13. The preferred candidate will possess a solid foundation in teaching I/GCSE and A Levels (mandatory), with familiarity in the IB Diploma Programme (desirable). The tutor must be adept in teaching Mathematics and Physics, capable of delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that motivate and captivate students.
• Provide stimulating and effective lessons in Mathematics up to Year 13 and Physics up to Year 10.
• Instruct across both I/GCSE and A Level curricula (mandatory) and IB Diploma (desirable).
• Facilitate 3:1 lessons and small group interventions to enhance learning and address knowledge gaps.
• Create and execute personalized lesson plans customized to meet individual student needs.
• Regularly evaluate student progress and modify teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange best practices and improve the overall educational experience.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching I/GCSE and A Levels (essential); knowledge of IB Diploma standards (preferred).
• At least 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience in the UAE in a similar capacity.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• A strong commitment to helping students reach their academic goals.
Working Hours:
• Up to 48 hours weekly, spanning across 5 days.
• Two non-consecutive days off, based on business requirements.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Location: The Tutoring Center – Al Furjan Pavilion
Salary: AED 6500-8000
